Recently, our wedding planning company, Tux & Gown, had the pleasure of graduating from Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute (LWPI) and receiving four different certifications. In this blog post, we'll share more about our experience and how these certifications have helped us better serve our clients.

Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute is a leading provider of wedding planning education, offering a comprehensive curriculum that covers everything from event design and planning to vendor management and client relations. Over the course of 2 years, we completed LWPI's rigorous coursework, which covered four key areas: Wedding Planning, Wedding and Event Design, Event Management, and Event Decor. Each of these areas builds on the others to provide a comprehensive understanding of the wedding planning process from start to finish.

The Wedding Planning certification covers the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to plan a successful wedding. This includes understanding the wedding planning process, creating timelines, selecting vendors, managing budgets, and more. With this certification, we have a strong foundation in wedding planning that allows us to confidently guide our clients through the planning process.

The Wedding and Event Design certification focuses on the creative and artistic aspects of wedding planning. It covers topics such as color theory, floral design, lighting, and decor. With this certification, we can create stunning, personalized wedding designs that bring our clients' visions to life.

The Event Management certification teaches us how to effectively manage events, including creating timelines, managing vendors, coordinating with other professionals, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. This certification is critical to our ability to provide our clients with a stress-free wedding day experience.

Finally, the Event Decor certification teaches us how to create beautiful and unique event decor that adds a special touch to weddings and other events.
